Job description

Qualification

• Minimum 5years+ of relevant audit experience in a similar position at a professional service organisation

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, or those with a full or partial professional qualification - ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.

• MIA membership is an added advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• A team player with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

• Willing to travel for client engagements when required.

• Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance services, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work as well as continuous engagement in managing expectations and deliverables.

• Possess solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles (e.g MPERS/MFRS and ISA), quality control standards and technology implementation procedures.

• Cultivate an engaging work environment that promotes the Firm's culture of quality and excellence.

• Lead audit teams to complete audit engagements within the stipulated deadlines.

• Supervise and guide the audit team to carry out audit assurance assignments.

• Report to engagement partners on audit progress findings,

• Ensure audit is carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards.

• Other ad hoc assignment.
