The Audio & Visual Intern supports the technical and creative execution of events, assisting with sound, lighting, video, and live production needs. This role involves setting up and operating A/V equipment, working alongside the production team to ensure high-quality audio and visual experiences for all guests. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, technically inclined, and able to adapt quickly in dynamic, event-driven environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Audio & Visual Setup and Operation

Assist in setting up, testing, and operating audio, lighting, and video equipment for events.

Event Support

Provide on-site technical support during events, including live sound mixing, video playback, and troubleshooting.

Equipment Maintenance

Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of A/V gear to ensure everything is in working order.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with the event team and performers/speakers to understand and deliver their A/V needs.

Post-Event Tasks

Assist in packing down and reviewing technical performance for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, or video systems (training can be provided)

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Ability to lift and move A/V equipment safely

Fast learner with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
