A premier financial institution is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk across the HR Division. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Law or HR, and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Job Title: HR Compliance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and ensure that the HR Division is in compliance with all relevant regulations, legal requirements, and internal processes of the company.
- Advise HR staff on compliance and risk matters related to HR functions by identifying, translating, and communicating the relevant regulations, legal requirements, and internal processes of the company, including procurement-related matters.
- Act as the Audit Liaison Officer, coordinating audits/reviews from regulators, internal/external auditors, and the Regulatory Compliance Unit, as well as attending to their inquiries on a timely basis.
- Perform Quality Assurance Checks such as Risk Control Self-Assessment and Regulatory Requirements Self-Assessment and Control Self-Assessment on a timely basis to ensure that the controls in the HR Division are effective in mitigating the Division’s risk exposure.
- Ensure other HR staff also perform Quality Assurance Checks such as Risk Control Self-Assessment and Regulatory Requirements Self-Assessment and Control Self-Assessment, accurately and on a timely basis.
- Participate in various bank-wide working groups on information and operational risks by attending the working group meetings and disseminating the information to HR staff to create awareness on information and operational risks related matters.
- Manage and handle the HR Division’s Business Continuity Management (BCM), including reviewing HR's business continuity planning is relevant and in place in the event of a crisis, as well as create awareness among HR staff on the Division’s BCP.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Human Resources, or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 2 - 3 years of experience in compliance or a related field.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work independently and provide correct advice and guidance to HR staff on overall risk and compliance matters.
- Willingness to learn and keep abreast of new laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with personnel from various levels and divisions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
