A leading auditing firm is seeking an Audit Associate to strengthen client relationships and execute audit procedures. This role involves leading audit teams, supervising junior associates, and ensuring high-quality audit execution in compliance with relevant regulations. Ideal candidates are proactive, possess strong technical skills, and have a collaborative spirit, ready to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
JOB SUMMARY
· Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships, execute assurance procedures
· Working under the supervision of an Assurance Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager, and helps execute audit work and present its findings to the client.
· Contribute technical insights to audit client engagements and internal projects
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· We will need you to lead a team to participate in audit assignments from beginning to end including:
- performing audit field works
- document and compiling audit working papers
- identify issues and present audit findings and recommendations as well as conduct follow up actions and meeting tight deadlines.
- Review audit reports
· Execute solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles (e.g MFRS/IFRS/MPERS/CA 2016 and ISA)
· Supervise Assurance Associate and facilitating a connection for team needs and requirements
· Develop and maintain an excellent communication with peers, superiors and external parties
REQUIREMENTS
· Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or those with a full or partial professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, CPA(A) or CIMA)
· Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications
· Knowledge in ProSystem fx Engagement will be an added advantage
· Strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
· Team players with strong sense of responsibility
· Willingness to learn and travel
