The Assurance groups include External Audit, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, and Forensic & Integrity Services.

Join our External Audit team and help our clients meet their reporting requirements through objective and independent examinations of their financial statements, engaging in timely and constructive discussions with management on accounting and reporting matters, and providing clear perspectives to audit committees.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an Audit Assistant, you will work on various audit engagements across different industry sectors acknowledged as market leaders by Ernst & Young, including financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, telecommunications, industrial products, automotive, retail and consumer products, real estate, and more. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing an understanding of the client’s business
  • Interacting with clients to gather necessary data, maintaining audit files, preparing leads, etc.
  • Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements
  • Documenting audit procedures accurately according to engagement objectives and audit approach
  • Recognizing potential audit issues or unusual relationships and communicating them to the assurance team

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or ACCA qualification or passing at least the fundamental levels of ACCA
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in Audit Services or related fields
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a global professional services organization or mid-tier firm is highly advantageous
