Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Functional (job responsibilities)

• Manage product coverage across various portfolios including Retail Financing, Retail Deposit, Business Corporate Banking Financing, Business Corporate Banking Deposit, Trade Services, Structured Products, Dual Currency Investment, Treasury Products, Sukuk, Unit Trust, and Takaful Products.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle by collaborating with stakeholders, counterparties, and business partners to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Propose, develop, and implement new Islamic products and services or enhance existing ones, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s strategic direction, Shariah compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend revisions to existing products or the development of new products to meet new regulatory standards.
• Prepare proposal papers for internal approval committees.
• Handle submission of product and service initiatives to regulators such as BNM, Securities Commission, PIDM, FIMM, etc.
• Establish or improve product documentation, including standard operating procedures, training materials, and conduct training sessions prior to product launches.
• Ensure timely delivery of initiatives to capitalize on market opportunities.

• Be a self-starter: independent, organized, meticulous, and capable of working under tight deadlines.

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

• Exhibit excellent organizational and coordination skills, with a curious and proactive mindset.

• Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, banking, business administration, or related fields.

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Islamic product development or similar is a plus.
