Asst. Manager - Operation Improvement & System (Credit Management Group)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Operation Improvement & System to join our Credit Management Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements in change management and operational processes, as well as coordinating system enhancement projects to boost productivity and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Drive operational and system improvements aligned with company policies, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations, and other relevant guidelines.

Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate the viability of new projects before implementation.

Plan, organize, and coordinate project meetings with relevant committees and stakeholders.

Identify process inefficiencies and propose enhancements in areas such as credit risk, collection risk, cost management, and customer service.

Assess control gaps and process-related risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Collaborate across departments to resolve current or anticipated operational issues.

Ensure all improvement initiatives comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards.

Perform regular reviews of ongoing and newly implemented projects to assess efficiency and compliance.

Prepare comprehensive business proposals and Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for system improvement initiatives.

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure quality testing before system implementation.

Provide support and guidance to branches nationwide in evaluating and implementing change initiatives.

Undertake any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirement:

Diploma or Degree in a relevant field or professional qualification.

5 years of experience in customer service, collections, credit management, or related functions.

Prior exposure to operations in banking or financial institutions is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills.

Effective interpersonal, listening, and presentation abilities.

Able to work independently, manage pressure, and support team collaboration.

Knowledge of collections, Malaysian laws, BNM collection-related guidelines, and banking operations is an advantage.
