Gather, extract data, analyse, review, monitor, and identify consumer, collection, and key trends in the overall credit portfolio data. Provide data insights and data-driven solutions to support credit and business policies, strategies for productivity, profitability, and efficiency improvements.

Gather, extract, and analyse internal consumer and market behavior; benchmark against competitors and market landscape.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :

1. Participate in business planning and policy implementation, including developing improvement plans, defining strategies, scheduling, risk identification, contingency planning, resource allocation, and investment costing.
2. Ensure timely data gathering and extraction for insights, and share data-driven solutions with management in a clear and usable format.
3. Closely monitor portfolio performance to manage credit quality and pre-empt potential credit deterioration.
4. Share policy and data insights promptly with the credit assessment team to ensure effective and timely implementation.
5. Lead and coach team members effectively.
6. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary data, understand processes, and support overall solutions for management.
7. Ensure staff compliance with the Information Security Policy.
8. Maintain high standards of customer service and work quality among staff.
9. Report key risk areas to Senior Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

1. Relevant work experience in data science with at least 5 years in the field.
2. Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
3. Proven proficiency with data science tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, etc.
4. Good understanding of machine learning algorithms.
5. Strong leadership and management skills, including team training and development.
6. Excellent analytical skills to review credit portfolios and develop management solutions.
7. Effective communication and writing skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
