ASST/FINANCE MANAGER (MANDARIN CHINESE PROFICIENCY REQUIRED)

Finance Manager (Mandarin Chinese Proficiency Required)

Operation hours: 11am - 8pm, Mon-Fri

Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, tax laws).

Lead the annual budgeting and planning process.

Monitor financial performance by analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing variances.

Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

Optimize financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.

Liaise with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and external stakeholders. Line-manage all finance team members, including induction, appraisal, and performance management.

Collaborate with management and undertake other duties as reasonably required, ensuring timely and effective handling of matters.

Educational Qualifications:

Languages: Must be proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) for effective communication with key clients.

Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA).

Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years in finance, accounting, or auditing.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of local tax laws, auditing, and accounting standards.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
