Job Description:

Conveyancing Lawyer Responsibilities:
1. Drafting and reviewing Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), loan documentation, tenancy agreements, and other related instruments.
2. Managing sub-sale and developer project files from initiation to completion, including liaising with clients, bankers, agents, developers, and relevant government bodies such as the Land Office, LHDN, and Stamp Office.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including stamp duty, tax implications, and procedural matters.
4. Attending to the signing of legal documents and providing legal advice on property

Litigation Lawyer Responsibilities:
1. Handling general civil litigation cases, including contractual disputes, tort claims, and debt recovery matters.
2. Drafting and preparing cause papers, pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and other relevant legal documents.
3. Conducting legal research and providing comprehensive legal opinions.
4. Attending court proceedings, including case managements, hearings, and trials.
5. Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant authorities to ensure effective case management.
6. Experience in handling banking litigation matters is considered a bonus

Pupillage Job Description:

1. Assist the Master and lawyers with corporate, litigation and conveyancing matters.
2. Support partners and legal associates in various areas of practice.
3. Conduct research on points of law and draft legal documents.

Conveyancing Clerk Job Description:

1. Able to work independently on sub-sale loan and SPA documentation.
2. Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities, such as the Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, etc.
3. Experienced in managing conveyancing matters related to retail, project, or commercial loan and SPA documentation with minimal supervision.
4. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must

Litigation Clerk Job Description:

1. Provide secretarial and clerical support to a team of litigation lawyers.
2. Handle, draft, prepare and compile legal documents for court filings and e-filings, and upkeep electronic and physical folders.
3. Attend to and handle service of cause papers.
4. Handle affirmation of documents and fairing of cause papers.
5. Managing the extraction of documents and Court papers.
6. Manage Court calendars and dates.
7. Organize all legal documents and ensure they are updated.
8. Track deadlines to ensure documents are filed in a timely manner.
9. Perform any ad-hoc task as and when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Associates Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution and be admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
2. 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in conveyancing or litigation practice.
3. Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Proficient in legal research, drafting, and document management.
5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
7. Possess own transport and willing to travel for court and client matters as necessary.
8. Good working attitude

Pupillage Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Qualified under the Legal Profession Act to commence pupillage.
2. Multi-tasker with a commitment to learning.
3. Strong work ethic and a positive working attitude.
4. Skilled in legal research and drafting simple writs.
5. Familiar with Microsoft Office

Conveyancing Clerk Qualifications and Requirements:
1. At least 2 years of experience in handling conveyancing sub-sale files.
2. Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.
3. Able to complete tasks within given timelines with minimal supervision.
4. Good working attitude

6. Familiar with online portals such as e-tanah, e-stamping, etc.

Litigation Clerk Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Minimum two (2) years working experience in civil litigation practice and procedure.
2. Proficient in English and Malay, both written and verbal.
3. Skilled with MS office and PDF conversions.
4. Familiar with filing procedure including electronic filing.
5. Familiar with procedures for service of cause papers.
6. Knowledge of legal software is an added plus.
7. Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
8. Must have a keen eye for detail and is able to work within strict deadlines.
