Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Malaysia is seeking an Associate SecDevOps Engineer to help automate infrastructure, deployments and monitoring across cloud platforms. You will embed security controls into pipelines and collaborate with engineering and security teams to address risks, with focus on automated security testing and vulnerability management.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, reusable tooling, and active participation in incident investigations alongside SecDevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, cyber security, software development or related technology discipline.
• Awareness of Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Basic scripting or programming skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash or related technologies.
• Knowledge of containerisation, observability and secure software delivery principles.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
