The Role:

• To learn both the Product Engine and FPMS system functionalities.
• To study and understand the product features and product set up
• To work closely with Pricing staff to create test cases for UAT
• To assist in performing system testing
• To work with IT and pricing for defect solving (if any)
• To assist in verifiying the testing results and update HPQC
• To provide guidance and support to pricing team members in related to system testing.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.
• Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

• Possessed a recognized Tertiary in Statistics / Maths / Actuarial Studies Professional.
• Minimum 1 years actuarial experiences in life insurance.
• Passed some actuarial exams in Faculty of Actuaries, Scotland / Institute of Actuaries, England / Institute of Actuaries, Australia / Society of Actuaries, US.
• Experiences in life insurance industry with basic knowledge in underwriting, claims, servicing and agency administration.
• Sufficient understanding in life insurance actuarial principles
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• Fresh graduate can be considered but with good results in accountancy.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
