JOB SUMMARY
  • This position will contribute significantly to:
  • the governance and collegial life within and outside the institution;
  • the discipline in teaching, research, scholarship, leadership, service, and engagement, with recognition at an international level, or nationally in exceptional cases;
  • original and innovative scholarship, research, and teaching in the discipline;
  • fostering research, teaching, and policy development within the institution and the community, professional, commercial, and industrial sectors.

  • Develop a portfolio supporting research and scholarly activities.
  • Disseminate research findings through relevant platforms.
  • Supervise honours and postgraduate students, including doctoral candidates.
  • Contribute to research training and develop research groups within the Faculty.
  • Secure external funding for research activities.
  • Develop collaborative research networks.
  • Undertake research with impact aligned with Academic Level D expectations.
  • Innovate and excel in teaching, continually developing curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and assessments, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
  • Mentor and provide consultation to students.
  • Enhance teaching, training, and mentoring skills continuously.
  • Design and deliver management development training sessions for executives.
  • Expand and develop learning and teaching activities within the Faculty.
  • Be prepared for teaching hours beyond regular hours, including weekends.
  • Engage in teaching activities that meet the impact expectations for Academic Level D.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
