Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor for our Prai, Penang site. You will oversee multiple production lines, driving performance, quality, and efficiency in a technically demanding environment. The role involves coaching engineers and operators, solving operational problems, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Manages production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and is in charge of line success.
• Evaluates daily plant operating performance and recommends changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Coaches a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery and reliability targets.
• Troubleshoots operational problems and drives resolution.
• Leads safety, compliance and clean work environment through team guidance.
• Supports budget planning and department cost management.
• Acts as interface between operation and maintenance teams.
• Engages in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritizes production schedules to meet customer requirements.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Associate Production Supervisor located in Prai, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the lines success.
• Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
• Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements.
• Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution.
• Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability.
• Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance to manufacturing standards.
