Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Process Engineer in Prai, Penang, Malaysia to join our manufacturing teams. The role focuses on understanding manufacturing processes, implementing designs for manufacturability, and driving process improvements.

You will address process-related issues, participate in ECOs, and help transfer new processes to production. The successful candidate typically holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and has at least 3 years of process engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience.
• Ability to define, implement and evaluate manufacturability of designs and processes.
• Experience in root-cause analysis and problem solving in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Recognize manufacturing processes, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process and address them.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvements; develop and maintain process documentation.
• Interface with production for new process implementation and transfer, and train production personnel.
