About the Job

Job Purpose
Staff member of New Product & Major Release, Campaign and Regulatory enhancement unit. Act as the liaison between IT, System Support team, project team, respective process owners, and other departments’ stakeholders. To provide consultation support, to address and provide solution on issues and support system enhancement


The Job
• Attend to system enhancement for major releases RSA, campaigns and system change resulted from regulatory guideline.
• Act as first line resolution by analyzing the issue and provide guidance to users to work around.
• Monitor and track the issues reported for the system enhancements.
• Coordinate and work closely with SMEs, stakeholders for business requirements.
• Follow up and track the status and timeline for the system enhancement.
• Preparation of test plan, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) for system enhancement based on the enhancement scopes of the project/enhancement within timeline.
• Monitor, tracking, follow-up and closing UAT issues.
• To assist in any other ad hoc tasks assigned by superior.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

The Person:

  • Possess either Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administrative or any related field(s).
  • Certification in Project Managements would be added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience with working experience in insurance related fields would be added advantage.
  • Independent & strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communication skill, with ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to produce high quality work under pressure.
  • Ability to translate business issues/challenges into effective/creative program solutions
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
