Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, quotation, price negotiation, order placement, and supplier delivery follow-up.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure stable supply, competitive pricing, and compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (Planning, Engineering, and Quality) to align material needs and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Support the setup and localization of the Malaysia site’s procurement process, including vendor onboarding and procurement documentation.
  • Monitor material lead time, cost trends, and inventory status to minimize risks and optimize purchasing strategies.
  • Prepare procurement reports and participate in cross-functional meetings for material planning, cost control, and supplier performance review.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in electronics or manufacturing industries.
  • Hands-on experience in sourcing, supplier negotiation, and purchase order execution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to support new site setup, including supplier onboarding, documentation, and process alignment.
