• Understand the day-to-day operations of the various product businesses of the Confirmations team.
• Perform daily activities across the OTC Derivative Confirmations Operations team.
• Assist in producing various reports for Senior Management.
• Manage front-to-back product oversight across functions as per the Country Support model.
• Support ad-hoc requests, projects, and initiatives, including on non-business days if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily BAU of OTC Derivative Confirmation Processes.
• Prepare MI for the processes handled.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide senior management reports periodically.
• Conduct audits and liaise with stakeholders and clients.

Strategy*
SCB GBS India Trade Control / Documentation hub supports over 20 regional offices, covering a wide range of Derivatives products including Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, FX Options, Interest Rate Products, and Credit Derivatives. The department, supported by about 50+ staff across Bangalore, Chennai, and Kuala Lumpur, aims to expand into new markets and develop evolving products to elevate the business.

Processes*
OTC Derivatives Confirmations Process across FX Derivatives, Commodities, Equities, Credit, and Rates, including Drafting, Matching, Exception Management, and Query Handling.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Operations.
  • Knowledge of Futures, Options, OTC Derivatives.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, speaking, and writing) is mandatory.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Data analytics and reporting skills are advantageous.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
