Job Purpose

This role involves processing complex policy benefit alterations such as non-disclosure, refunds, policy revision appeals, backdating/re-dating of policy commencement, and corrections related to date of birth, gender, family discounts, and non-smoker rebates. The role requires ensuring timely processing aligned with the department's targeted Turn Around Time and Service Level Agreements.

The Role:

• Processing policyholder applications within authorized limits.
• Completing assigned duties to meet departmental service standards.
• Handling customer (internal/external), agent, and vendor inquiries and complaints, ensuring resolution.
• Participating in projects to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Supporting frontline counter services as needed.
• Considering business and regulatory risks and taking steps to mitigate them.
• Staying informed on industry trends, compliance, and emerging risks to safeguard the company.
• Proactively sharing risk management best practices.
• Performing other related responsibilities.

The Person:

• Possess a Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields; majors in Insurance or Finance are advantageous.
• Professional qualifications such as AMII/ACII, FLI are preferred.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience; insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
• Ability to translate business challenges into effective solutions.
• High integrity, accountability, and a positive team attitude.
• Proactive, adaptable, and open to change.
