Job summary

Bank Negara Malaysia seeks an Associate Supervisor, IT Supervision, to assist the Senior Supervisor of IT risk in planning, organising and supervising IT risk across financial institutions, ensuring stability and compliance with the Financial Services Act 2013 and Islamic Financial Services Act 2013.

You will assess IT risk vulnerabilities through on-site and off-site supervision, initiate preventive actions, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely supervisory

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT security/auditing experience in financial sector.
• Ability to assess IT risk and health of financial institutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance.

Responsibilities

• Assess IT risk vulnerabilities in FIs through on-site and off-site supervision.
• Provide recommendations and remedial actions to address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with IT risk policies, regulations, and governance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for information.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as needed.
