Swift is seeking an Associate IT Operations Specialist in Kuala Lumpur, on-site. The role involves monitoring critical systems, incidents management, and data centre support. It offers a journey of growth in a globally trusted financial messaging provider.

Work on a 24/7 rotational shift supporting business-critical systems and services. Monitor infrastructure, applications, databases, network services, and production environments using approved monitoring tools. Perform first-level incident investigation, recovery, escalation, and follow-up until resolution. Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes in accordance with established operational procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Support Data Centre operations including hardware installation, cabling, maintenance activities, audit controls, and vendor coordination.
Participate in and, where assigned, own operational initiatives, projects, service onboarding, automation, monitoring enhancements, process improvements, testing, and system upgrades. Plan and manage assigned initiatives by validating requirements, identifying dependencies and risks, engaging relevant stakeholders, and providing timely progress updates. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service reliability, monitoring, documentation, and automation, and contribute to the implementation of approved improvements.
Work closely with infrastructure, application, network, development, and business teams to restore services and improve operational stability. Maintain accurate operational documentation, including knowledge articles, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and implementation records. Share knowledge and contribute to continuous learning within the team.
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent. Fresh graduates with a strong learning attitude. Experience in IT Operations or Infrastructure Support is an advantage. Familiarity with monitoring platforms, ServiceNow, Jira, scripting, or infrastructure technologies is beneficial. ITIL knowledge or certification is an advantage.
