We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate - Investor Services. Reporting to the Manager of the Investor Services team, this full-time, permanent position is based in Johor Bahru with regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our team and its growth.

The position involves supporting the Investor Services team in performing KYC reviews of investors, including document collection, accuracy checks, name screening, and KYC compliance as per global and local requirements. The role also includes updating and maintaining investor data in Vistra’s approved data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform due diligence on prospective and existing investors according to local and group policies during onboarding and periodic reviews.
  2. Collect KYC documents and information from investors or clients, following the approved requirements and following up on delays or deficiencies.
  3. Conduct name screening and searches on investors and related parties using approved tools.
  4. Maintain investor data, including profile creation and updates in the data platform.
  5. Track work status and follow up with investors or relevant parties to ensure service delivery.
  6. Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
  7. Ensure adherence to standards and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in KYC, Customer Due Diligence, or Name Screening within a financial institution or similar role.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Meticulous attention to detail, with good analytical and research skills.
  4. Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
  5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.
