Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist in the origination, structuring and execution of investment transactions.
  • Assist in engagement with potential investment companies, general partners, advisors, & other partners.
  • Assist in building up pipeline of investment opportunities within identified strategic themes.
  • Identify and assess investment opportunities through research and financial analysis.
  • Execute capital deployment via Separate Managed Account, direct investments or other deployment mechanisms.
  • Prepare financial models, reports and presentation decks for potential transactions.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence (including financial, commercial and operational) on potential investments.
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders and external parties/advisors to ensure successful completion of engagements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably at least three (3) years of relevant experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Strategic Investments or other equivalent functions in the financial industry would be an advantage
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or any other major from local or overseas universities recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
  • Good analytical skills, meticulousness, and ability to work independently.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with associated stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented, fast-paced, resourceful, proactive, resilient and able to deliver under pressure.
  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Malaysia Government
