Position: Human Resources Executive

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process for various hotel departments.
  • Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and facilitate onboarding.
  • Maintain updated manpower plans in coordination with department heads.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for staff queries and grievances.
  • Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture.
  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and events.

Training & Development

  • Assist in planning and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintain training records and track employee development.
  • Coordinate with HODs to identify skill gaps and training needs.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain and update employee records (attendance, leaves, payroll data).
  • Support salary processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and local labor regulations.

Performance Management

  • Assist in implementing appraisal processes.
  • Provide feedback support and documentation.
  • Monitor probation and confirmation timelines.

General Administration

  • Prepare HR reports and maintain HRMIS.
  • Support in drafting policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with management on HR initiatives to improve staff satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work in a fast-paced environment.
