The Role:
  1. Ensure all Business Units comply with the Procurement Framework, including the Procurement Policy, Operating Guidelines, and Procedures.
  2. Prepare quarterly reports and conduct annual training sessions as required.
  3. Perform yearly revisions of the Procurement Policy, Operating Guidelines, related procedures, and checklists.
  4. Review all exception handling requests and expenditure approval forms.
  5. Manage the Centralized Tender and Quotation process, including maintaining the registry, monitoring quotations and tender submissions, and overseeing validation processes.
  6. Periodically review internal controls of departmental processes and highlight any non-compliance or control failures.
  7. Consider business and regulatory compliance risks, taking appropriate mitigation steps.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends concerning regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to understand risks and safeguard the company.
  9. Identify potential concerns or risks and share best risk management practices proactively.
  10. Perform other related responsibilities.
The Person:
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a similar field.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and proficient with numbers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and sourcing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • High integrity, accountable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Proactive in improving processes and adaptable to change.
