The roles

1. Responsible for maintaining and handling day-to-day accounts and all accounting matters.
2. Ensure proper and accurate month-end closing within the deadline.
3. Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure prompt clearance of outstanding items.
4. Investigate variances between the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers and liaise with business users for resolutions.
5. Update Standard Operating Procedures within Finance.
6. Participate in process improvement and transformation initiatives within Finance.
7. Perform any other functions relevant to the job grade as assigned.
8. Consider business and regulatory compliance risks and take steps to mitigate them.
9. Assist in Third Party Outsourcing Review, evaluate services provided, and conduct risk assessments.
10. Highlight potential concerns or risks and share best risk management practices proactively.

The person

1. Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
2. Have at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Demonstrate high integrity, accountability, a positive attitude towards teamwork, initiative, and adaptability to change.
