Job description

Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly Group consolidated management accounts, providing financial analysis for reporting to Management and key stakeholders.

Prepare monthly financial reports for company business management, including consolidated management reporting after month-end close, as well as budget, rolling forecasts, and projections for various legal entities of the company.

Ensure the timely submission of annual income tax returns and indirect taxes (e.g., SST or GST) to local authorities within statutory deadlines for the relevant business entities. Lead the preparation and finalization of statutory financial statements for all legal entities of the company.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, particularly related to the procurement of inventory from principal vendors, including gross margin analysis, net present value (NPV) cash flow analysis, and other financial metrics.

Monitor and manage the capital wallet requirements for the business, ensuring inventory procurement and debtor collection align with annual budgets. Lead and supervise the Finance team across various legal entities of the company, ensuring effective execution of day-to-day financial operations.

Liaise with shared services to address accounting issues and provide timely resolutions for the company’s legal entities.

Oversee and manage special projects initiated within the company’s business units, ensuring successful completion.

Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors and tax agents, facilitating audit and tax processes with no findings and ensuring timely completion in line with deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
• 3 to 7 years total working experience with at least 3 years post-qualifying experience in accounting/finance/consolidation with a multinational or publicly listed company.
• Knowledge of the Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs) issued by the Malaysian Accounting Standard Board (MASB).
• Knowledge of Mandarin is required as HQ is based in Taiwan.
• Experience in a factory environment is an advantage.
• Ability to maximise government incentives and investment allowances.
• Demonstrated leadership ability is important for future development.
