Job summary

Celestica in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking an Associate Engineer in Test Manufacturing. Under supervision, you will develop, qualify and install test applications in manufacturing operations, and help optimize the test process for better cycle time and yield.

Responsibilities include debugging vendor or customer-provided solutions, and supporting test optimization with input from operations and customers to improve diagnosability and reliability.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations.
• Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield
• Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied
• Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid unstinting of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
• Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
