POET Technologies Inc. is seeking a junior data-focused engineer to help build data pipelines and analytic solutions for semiconductor manufacturing and supply-chain challenges in Penang.

You will write Python and SQL, integrate data from multiple sources, and support dashboards and reports for projects across Penang and Singapore. Ideal candidates have a diploma or bachelor’s in CS/IS/SE or related field, 0–1 year of experience, and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree required or related discipline.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience; entry-level applicants welcome.
• Fundamental knowledge of Python, SQL, relational databases and programming concepts.
• Academic or personal projects involving Python, SQL, data analytics, APIs or cloud technologies, or exposure to Power BI, Tableau or Git.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data-processing workflows.
• Write and maintain Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, validation and analysis.
• Assist with integrating data from databases, APIs, files and enterprise systems.
• Support the development of analytical datasets, dashboards and reports for supply-chain and manufacturing projects.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting.
• Assist with automating repetitive operational and reporting processes.
• Participate in the development, testing, deployment and monitoring of digital applications and planning-system capabilities.
• Prepare technical documentation, follow coding standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Penang and Singapore.

This role builds strong technical foundations across data engineering, analytics, automation and digital transformation. You will work on real-world semiconductor manufacturing and supply-chain problems alongside experienced team members, developing data pipelines, analytical solutions and digital applications.

Job Responsibilities
