Job Summary: The role will provide local HR support and advice to management and employees in Malaysia. This role involves facilitating, coordinating, and driving HR processes on the ground based on global processes and local requirements. The associate will cooperate with HRBPs and colleagues in Centers of Excellence such as Recruitment, Academy, and Compensation and Benefits. Ensuring HR compliance, safeguarding employee relations, and maintaining frameworks and company policies aligned with local legislation and employee representatives are key responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance, insights, and solutions across the HR agenda.
  • Develop and deploy HR programs and processes in alignment with organizational goals, industry best practices, and local labor laws.
  • Develop regional strategies centered around HR pillars such as talent management and employee connectivity, and drive related initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Total Reward, Talent Development, Talent Mobilization, Benefits, Diversity and Inclusiveness, and HR Services to support the business on key processes and initiatives throughout the year.
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of diversity and inclusion where employee experience is the cornerstone of HR service delivery.
  • Design initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce and aid career development.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and contribute to the continuous simplification and improvement of HR processes and development of regional HR initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform data-driven decision-making.
