Job Summary

You will manage and develop a team of credit professionals responsible for a portfolio of credit relationships. You will provide administrative oversight and foster relationships with key internal stakeholders such as Corporate Banking (CB), Group Risk Management (GRM), Global Markets (GM), Internal Audit, and others to support the growth of RBC Capital Markets' loan book and trading business.

What is the opportunity?

Manage and develop a team of credit professionals overseeing a portfolio of credit relationships. Lead relationships with internal stakeholders to support business growth in lending and trading.

What will you do?

Responsibilities include:

• Annual Reviews: Ensure timely completion and high quality of annual reviews of credit relationships.
• Data Integrity: Review submissions for accurate reflection of credit terms and timely review of documentation.
• Monitoring: Oversee reporting requirements and escalate breaches appropriately.
• Delegated Lending Authorities: Ensure compliance through oversight and coaching.
• Audit: Manage responses to audit and regulatory requests.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with key internal teams and conduct regular meetings.

Additional duties include coaching, global collaboration, presenting to stakeholders, and process reviews.

What do you need to succeed?

• 5-8 years in corporate lending, credit risk, or client management.
• Business/Finance degree; MBA or professional designations are assets.
• Strong financial analysis, credit documentation, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
