JOB PURPOSE
Support Head of Credit Evaluation & Review in evaluating financing proposals primarily in support of Share Margin Financing (SMF) businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake evaluation of credit proposals critically and objectively including inter alia, undertaking in-depth analysis of client’s collateral portfolio (including share price analysis), repayment capacity of Borrowers, financial analysis assessment of key risks and mitigating factors of underlying collaterals.
• Present credit proposal to relevant approving committee (GMCC/GBCRRC/Board).
• Ensure compliance of credit proposal turnaround time per approved KPI.
• Work closely with various stakeholders including dealers, product owner, operations, credit & risk management and Group RM in the preparation and submission of credit proposals.
• Ensure compliance of financing activities to internal and external policies/guidelines.
• Support Head of Department in reviewing draft proposals prepared by junior analysts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Support Head of Department with any adhoc requests/special projects.
• Represent HOD for any internal/external meetings during her absence.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in undertaking credit evaluation.
• Excellent credit and financial analysis skills particularly financial and cash flow analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders and employees.
• Adequate knowledge of financial markets.
