Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in (re)insurance working in an analytical role focusing on catastrophe modelling/management.
• Strong experience in using catastrophe modelling platforms.
• Experience in using Microsoft SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data auditing, formatting and compilation of insurance risk portfolios.
• Perform catastrophe modelling analysis using licensed models.
• Liaise with clients to establish project objectives and manage them.

Skills

Strong computer skills in MS Office suites (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Strong interpersonal skills

Experience in programming or scripting

GIS experience (ACRMAP)

Education

Graduated in a science field such as earth science, physics, mathematics

Actuarial, finance or statistical studies
