About the job: Associate Business Development

Salary: Base Salary RM2500 to RM3000 plus incentives

Responsibilities:
Key Accountability: Outbound Contact and Qualification
- Talk to prospects and move them from their existing stage of knowledge toward interest in working with the company.
- Desire to be on the phone, on social networks, and on email talking to prospects as much as possible.
- Work ethic to “pick up the phone” as soon as you get into the office in the morning.
- Knowledge of professional social media channels and how to act as a beacon of knowledge in interactions with prospects.
- Collect all data necessary to objectively mark prospects as qualified and pass them to Business Development Managers for closing.
Key Accountability: Customer Service
- Provide value in all interactions with prospects and be someone they generally enjoy talking to.
- Strive for personalization and value delivered in all communications with prospects.
- Help prospects by educating them about the opportunities for which the organization has solutions, tailored to their customer type, market, and interest level.
- Have a consultative attitude about guiding prospects to the right solution by asking questions to diagnose their needs.
Key Accountability: Systems Management
- Capture your activities and insights in our CRM so that the team can build the business and identify new opportunities.
- Log activities in CRM diligently – calls, meetings, emails.
- Add relevant details to your activities, including what was discussed and what content was shared, to ensure clarity for any reader.
Requirements:
Work Experience
- 1+ years of in-house sales experience.
- Experience in outbound cold calling and sales activities through social media.
- Self-starter attitude.
Preferred:
- Experience selling SaaS applications.
- Experience selling products to media buyers.
- Experience in property development companies.
- Experience with CRM systems for sales tracking (Salesforce preferred).
- Proven desire to work constantly on the phone, instant messaging, and social media with potential customers.
