Job summary

Manulife is looking for a software developer in Kuala Lumpur who is accountable for providing production support to ensure the smooth running of business operations. You will develop applications based on user requirements and deliver tasks with high quality.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly with RPG, CL, RPGLE, CLLE, and AS400. This position supports a hybrid working arrangement, promoting flexibility and inclusion.

• Develop applications and supporting components to meet business needs

• Provide effective post go‑live system support and maintenance for in‑house build application systems

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in software development
• Experience with RPG, CL, RPGLE, CLLE, AS400
• Experience supporting legacy or core business systems is strongly preferred
• Able to communicate clearly with users and team members, in terms of verbal and written communications
