How you will make an impact:
• Determine and apply routine requirements on security and video systems installations projects in collaboration with team members and local site Facilities/Construction counterparts and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
• Review and recommend access control and video surveillance equipment in accordance with Edwards standards for new and retrofit projects worldwide
• Apply technical knowledge, skills, and business principles to remediate vulnerabilities, hazards and risk in alignment with tactical requirements
• Provide recommendations on regular assessments of physical security systems to optimize reliability, uptime, system security, and scalability
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate on security equipment sourcing, installation, service and repair
• Contribute to the development of design standards for security access and video surveillance systems equipment and functionalities
• Participate on the development, review and revision of the Security project planning and design process for new and retrofit construction, system modifications and replacements
• Coordinate and activate response procedures in a fast-paced environment that requires prioritizing a wide range of incident, system, and service issues. Multi-task, providing a balance between security, service, monitoring and notification using best practice methodologies and problem solving skills.
• Utilize security system reporting data for incident investigation, and take or recommend appropriate actions.

What you’ll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree in related field, with minimum of 1 year related experience

• The minimum of 1 year hands on experience working with security systems and procedures is an added advantage

• Basic computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite and related systems
• Basic written and verbal communication skills including relationship management skills
• Moderate understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to managing security systems
• Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group
• Ability to build stable working relationships internally
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
