How you will make an impact:
- Oversee JAPAC Edwards Data architecture, strategically design data solutions and managing projects for timely delivery of business value.
- Design state-of-the-art data structure to fulfill Edwards's data needs.
- Engage in agile discussion with team members to produce the best approach for data.
- Convert business requirements into specifications and devise data structure using the Snowflake platform.
- Define data structure guidelines and execute the solution.
- Outline and administer technical infrastructural prerequisites for deploying data solutions while adhering to IT security protocols.
- Liaise with key Edwards stakeholders, articulating clear solution roadmaps and rollout schemes.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and handle risks to expedite completion schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data structure.
- Fine-tune data performance, solve operational glitches, and refine functionalities.
- Support Operations lead with issue escalation and resolution to adhere to SLA commitments.
What you'll need (Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematical or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management System) with 1-2 years’ experience required progressively direct experience delivering projects with Snowflake or SQL is a must.
- Proven experience as a data engineer, with a deep understanding of data structure concepts and methodologies ideally within a regulated commercial operations context & Snowflake environment.
- Prior experience or taken part in data migration exercises would be advantageous.
- Competence in intricate technical project management.
- Certification from Snowflake would be advantageous.
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Advanced skills in Snowflake or SQL are preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Tableau & Salesforce are desirable.
- Fluency in programming languages such as SQL.
- A strong background in relational databases and IT infrastructure components.
- High-level communication and presentation abilities.
- Adeptness to work effectively in both autonomous and collaborative team settings.
- An extensive comprehension of healthcare or medical device sectors is an asset.
- Valuable insights into complex global business operations.
