SS&C Technologies, Inc. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Associate to support the Net Asset Values, trade processing and accounting activities for Hedge Funds and Alternative Funds.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with exposure to accounting or finance and about two years of relevant experience. You will reconcile cash/holdings with external parties and prepare periodic reports, financial statements and audit schedules while coordinating with custodians, prime brokers and asset managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with exposure to accounting, investment, finance or analytical coursework.
• Approximately 2 years of working experience in a related role.

Responsabilités

• Prepare timely and accurate Net Assets Values for Alternative Funds.
• Process trades, pricing, corporate actions and accounting journals for Hedge Funds.
• Reconcile Cash and Holdings between core Accounting systems and external parties such as Prime Brokers, Custodian or Asset Manager.
• Assist with the resolution of trade discrepancies and communicate to clients and management.
• Generate daily, weekly or monthly reports including control reports to ensure report integrity.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, audit schedules, compliance reports, tax allocations or other reports.
• Communicate with Custodians, Prime Brokers, Asset Managers or Clients as necessary.
