We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the dynamic team at Kuehne + Nagel (SGMY) in Tanjung Pelepas, Johor. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our warehousing facilities, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials.

Key responsibilities

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping of goods

Coordinate and oversee the work of warehouse staff, delegating tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met

Implement and monitor warehouse procedures and policies to maintain high standards of safety, security and efficiency

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance warehouse operations

Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as logistics and transportation, to ensure coordinated and timely delivery of goods

Maintain accurate inventory records and generate relevant reports for management

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing coaching and support to warehouse team members

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control, and supply chain operations

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing priorities

Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and MS Office suite

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Familiarity with safety regulations and inventory management best practices

Commitment to continuous improvement and a customer-centric approach
