Overview
General Job Description: To manage and exercise control over all activities and the operations in the warehouse/store by leading the team members to complete works on time, in an accurate, smooth and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of the existing and new or amended laws; rules and regulations, SOP, policies and procedures of the Company.
- Meeting given KPI that aligned with the department's strategy, which in turn aligned with the overall strategy of the Group.
- Plan and schedule daily work activities for Store staffs, including overtime work. Track to ensure assigned jobs are completed within the given time frame.
- Supervise and monitor staffs’ work progress to ensure customer orders are suitably packed, ensure quantity and description are correct and deliver to customer on time.
- Coordinate with other Store Leaders to ensure effective utilisation of the available manpower resources within the outlets located nearby, to resolve the issues on shortage or surplus manpower.
- Monitor staffs’ job performance by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees including their attendance. Encourage team spirit by working together with subordinates.
- Receive and verify incoming supplies and reconcile with purchase order and packing list. Inspect quantity and quality.
- Schedule and regularly check on book balances with actual physical stock count. Investigate and resolve issues on discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movement in a frequent manner by maintaining effective inventory control to avoid shortage or overstock. To initiate requisition to replenish stocks of all high demand products when needed.
- Control the use of heavy equipment such as forklift, truck, etc., to avoid unnecessary work injury.
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation. Submit necessary reports on time.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse/store and shipping/receiving areas. Ensure warehouse/store clean and tidy at all times.
- Manage staffs in using WMS or SAP system, ensure staffs understand and good use the system.
- Participate in the training program arranged by the Company in order to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required for work performance improvement purposes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- SPM/ Professional Certificate/ Diploma or equivalent in the related field.
- Preferably possess vehicle spare parts knowledge, Executives specializing in Warehouse Management or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of supervisor experience in the related field.
- Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients. Possess leadership, independence and Discipline.
