Are you a seasoned legal professional ready to take on a strategic role in a leading financial institution? Cagamas is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Legal to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence and integrity in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting & Reviewing: Prepare and review legal and quasi-legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Research & Legal Advisory: Conduct legal research and provide sound advice to management and all departments. Liaise and negotiate with financial institutions, solicitors, regulatory bodies, service providers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage: Agreements, legal opinions, regulatory submissions, document execution, and stamping.
• Special Duties & Projects: Undertake special assignments as directed by the President/CEO and Chief of Divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a legal firm or in-house legal counsel
• Strong personal integrity and ethical standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented and diligent in executing responsibilities
