About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team at ELITE TRANSFORM TEAM' in Medini Johor. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our students. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Help with daily classroom management tasks, such as supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, mealtimes, and transitions
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to monitor and document each child's progress, and communicate this information to parents and guardians
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to the ELITE TRANSFORM TEAM' mission, values, and policies

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience working in a childcare or early education setting
• A passion for working with young children and a deep understanding of their developmental needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A relevant qualification in early childhood education or a related field (e.g. Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care)
• A valid working with children check or equivalent
