About the role

Jade Commercial Services is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our growing team at our childcare facility in Medini Johor. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Teacher in providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2 to 6 years old. What you'll be doing

• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and executing engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and lessons
• Support the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to monitor children's progress and development, and provide feedback to parents
• Maintain a clean, organised and stimulating classroom environment
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and professional development opportunities
• Adhere to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia languages
