Job summary

Lloyds Earle Panicker & Tan, Chartered Accountants Malaysia, seeks an Assistant Tax Manager in Kuala Lumpur to support direct and indirect tax advisory services and ensure compliance with tax laws. The role is full-time, with exposure to diverse clients and professional development opportunities.

You will provide tax guidance, prepare returns, perform planning, liaise with authorities, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification with 4–5 years post-qualification tax experience.
• Holding or intending to pursue Tax Agent licence from MOF.
• Expertise in corporate and personal tax planning, compliance and advisory services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and guidance to clients across industries.
• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns.
• Analyse financial information and identify planning opportunities.
• Handle tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to service development.
