About the role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Surveyor to join our dynamic team at WSG Properties Sdn Bhd in Papar, Sabah. As an Assistant Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting our experienced team in various surveying and property-related activities. This is a full-time role, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and growth within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the measurement and mapping of land, buildings, and other structures

Gathering and analysing data related to land use, ownership, and boundaries

Preparing detailed survey reports and drawings using appropriate software tools

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of surveying information

Maintaining and updating survey records and databases

Providing support in the preparation of tender documents and project proposals

Participating in field work, site inspections, and client meetings as required

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or property industry

Proficiency in using survey equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levelling instruments

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with survey software, AutoCAD, and GIS applications

A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
