The Purpose of Role The Supply Planner role is responsible for devising a production plan and managing the execution of the plan in order to support business needs. A Supply Planner acts as a key connector between Demand Planning and Manufacturing. It is the responsibility of the Planner to understand the business and to build a responsive network that can react to the volatility of the market while managing inventory levels, non-finished good material availability, and waste implications.

Your Role/Key Responsibilities
Establish supply requirement (RR) for Import & local manufacturing SKUs.
Review RR for DC - for the short term and long-term horizon.
Analyze and evaluate the supply plans and net despatch requirements from SU.
Manage exceptions via DRP alerts on incoming despatch plans from SU.
Consistently achieve sustainable Customer Service Level for domestic by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time.
Operational Supply Planning.
Liaise regularly with sourcing units to review supply plans against customer forecasts and orders.
Attend Regional Category Demand and Supply Reconciliation meetings and identifying short-term capacity constraints, highlighting these to the business and providing contingency plans.
Prepare the loss-tree analysis for all the non-supplied orders.
Review KPIs with the sourcing units at the end of each planning cycle.
Monitor and leading the offshore supply planning operations.
Product Transformation (Co-Packing Job).
Product transformation at DC.
Master data creation in liaison with MDM e.g. BOM, Master recipes, etc.
Conversion of planned orders into process orders for subsequent activity to proceed.
Communication of job order issued to relevant stakeholders e.g. co-packers, warehouse operations & Supply Operation Coordinator.
Verify job order completion by co-packers and communicate to Supply Operation Coordinator (Promotion Administrator).
Inventory Planning.
Determine the stock policies for Domestic Finished Goods using MEIO.
Assists to conduct periodic review on stock cover policy for Domestic Finished Goods.
Monitor days-on-hand against target and identifying improvement opportunities.
Manage slow-moving and obsolete stocks (SLOB) by highlighting slow and non-moving stocks to the business to generate appropriate actions.
Assists on planning aspects in new product development (NPD Launch / Relaunch).
Work closely with Project Lead to complete relevant planning information as required in the NPD GANTT Chart.
Work closely with Export Manager / Local 3PM to ensure timely launch of new products in collaboration with Factory Planning Team and Demand Planners.
Follow up closely with materials workflows and update master data set up timely.
Communication on plan transition & clearance plan from business.
Manage Exceptions.
Demand Plans exception – review with Demand Planning Team on stock availability via D&SP / WORM meeting.
Production/material shortfalls and Quality non-conformance – review with SU Planning Team /Local 3PM on the possible actions for speedy recovery.
Supply shortages – review with various stakeholders on the possible actions to identify and close gaps.
Champion in supply planning.
Governance on process flow to ensure the planning team is adherence to the correct process.
Backup as MDM advisor when SP having issues on masterdata before issuing ticket to support team.
To be SAP & Kinaxis champion in supply planning area.

Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge
4-6 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Strong business-partnering and proven track record is a must.
Supply Planning Systems (e.g. SAP-RIP, Kinaxis, Coupa, DCIW, BOT).
Inventory Management practices (e.g. MEIO adoption).
Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge
Demand forecasting and Supply Planning.
Innovation / New Product Development Project Management.
Inventory Optimization.
Process improvement experience.
