Our #MKASupplyChainTeam is expanding! In this role, the Assistant Supply Chain Manager will be responsible in managing the supply chain of a wide range products of various industries (automotive, health and beauty, and F&B). This includes demand planning, order fulfilment, logistics arrangement and ensuring the timely delivery of products in alignment with company needs and budget.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that integrate demand forecasting, supply planning and forecast alignment.

Develop and manage stock demand and supply planning across region.

Analyse sales data, forecast demand and identify stock bottlenecks.

Being part of ordering committee oversee and manage the ordering process for automotive from forecast demand planning, supply planning, PO placement up to shipment arrangement delivery.

Monitor supplier / shipper performance in term of shipment arrangement to ensure product deliver on time and meet SLA agreement.

Prepare inventory and logistics analysis report to support informed business decisions.

Oversee the order fulfilment process and synchronize inventory management with demand forecast to maintain optimal inventory level.

Ensure that orders are placed in a timely manner to meet inventory needs and avoid stockouts.

Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders to monitor stock levels and avoid overstocking or understocking.

Coordinate with other departments to forecast product demand and ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner.

Conduct regular product reviews to identify slow-moving items and manage their disposal or promotion.

Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to align product availability with sales forecasts and promotional activities.

Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Identify Issues in systems/processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Drive and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company KPIs and Goals.

Any other ad-hoc or initiatives as required by the management from time to time.

Requirements

Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Proactive and able to multitask in fast-paced setting.

Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Minimum 5 year of experience in demand planning with at least 1 year experience in shipping or logistics industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Microsoft Excel.

Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay and Mandarin (to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Our office is located at 40, Jln TPP 5, Taman Perindustrian Putra, 47130 Puchong, Selangor

Working hours is 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
