This role involves developing, organizing, and promoting sporting and recreational programs and activities, supporting student and staff groups in sports-related events and competitions, maintaining facilities and equipment, and providing basic guidance for their use.
The Assistant Sports & Recreations Officer assists the Retail & Recreations Services Officer in managing daily operations such as facility booking and payment processing, membership collection, member card activation, preparing daily collection reports, and other duties assigned by the supervisor within the division.
Key skills required include high-level administrative abilities for sporting and recreational facilities, interpersonal and group communication skills, and experience with basic sporting facilities. The role also involves managing maintenance of facilities and equipment and promoting participation in sporting and recreational activities among students and staff.
