ETRIA MANUFACTURING MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Assistant Shipping Manager to join our team in Penang. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and logistics operations for our manufacturing business, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to customers both domestically and internationally.

What you’ll be doing

Coordinate the shipping and logistics of finished products to customers, working closely with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations and invoices.

Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.

Liaise with customers, suppliers and logistics providers to troubleshoot and resolve any delivery issues.

Maintain detailed records of all shipping activities and costs.

Optimise shipping routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and customs requirements.

Maintain LMW license renewal related preparation.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a shipping or logistics role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of import/export procedures and customs clearance processes.

>Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

Proficient in using shipping management software.

Organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements for international shipping and customs.
