Assistant SCM Manager (Warehouse, Logistics, Sales Support) (Yong Peng, Johor)

We're looking to add a Assistant SCM Manager located in Yong Peng, Johor to support our extraordinary teams and contribute to our growth.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Plan and implement new warehouse layouts to optimize space utilization.
  • Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal guidelines for warehouse operations.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Coordinate and supervise logistics activities, including transportation and delivery of goods.
    • Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts.
    • Monitor and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Sales Support:
    • Provide support to the sales team by managing order processing and fulfillment.
    • Assist in preparing sales reports and analyzing sales data.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Team Management:
    • Supervise and motivate warehouse and logistics staff.
    • Ensure a safe and productive work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.

    Skills and Personalities:

    • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, sales support, and logistics.
    • Good knowledge of FSC standards and HACCP requirements.
    • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Willing to work in Yong Peng, Johor.
